It is said that if the morning gets off to a good start, the entire day goes smoothly. This also leads to an improvement in your work efficiency. Currently, most people are working from home, and often, after sitting at a computer or laptop for hours on end, one begins to feel stiffness throughout the body. To prevent this, make it a point to practice one or two gentle yoga poses early every morning.
Trikonasana:
Practicing Trikonasana helps reduce mental stress. It also helps keep weight under control. To perform this asana, begin by standing upright with your feet spread wide apart. Next, bend your spine and lower your hand. Then, raise your right arm upward. Now, fix your gaze on the fingers of your right hand. After holding the pose for a short while, return to the starting position. Now, repeat the sequence.
Halasana:
To perform this asana, first spread a mat on the floor. Next, lie down flat on the mat. Now, place both your hands on the ground and bring your feet together. Gently lift both your legs, simultaneously lifting your hips slightly off the ground. Now, using your hands for support, guide both legs over your head toward the floor behind you. Keep your legs and knees straight, and keep your hands positioned alongside your hips. Hold this position for a short while, then return to the starting position. If you suffer from high or low blood pressure, or have any heart-related conditions, do not perform this asana.
