These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Zappwala platform (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using Zappwala, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
1. Nature of Platform
Zappwala is a hyperlocal listing and booking marketplace that connects users with independent third-party vendors for services, rentals, food delivery, logistics, events, and classified listings.
Zappwala operates as an intermediary under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must have legal capacity under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
- By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and lawful.
3. User Accounts
- Users are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of login credentials.
- Zappwala may suspend accounts for fraud, abuse, or policy violation.
- Providing false information may lead to permanent termination.
4. Vendor Onboarding & Obligations
- Vendors must provide valid business documentation.
- Vendors are solely responsible for service quality and legal compliance.
- Vendors agree to pay commission per order and applicable annual platform fees.
- Vendors must comply with DPDP Act when handling customer data.
5. Booking & Payments
- Payments are processed via secure third-party gateways.
- Zappwala may charge convenience fees.
- Platform commission will be deducted as agreed.
- Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.
6. Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellation and refund terms are governed by the separate Return & Refund Policy available on the Platform.
7. Intermediary Disclaimer
Zappwala does not control or guarantee:
- Quality of vendor services
- Accuracy of vendor listings
- Timeliness of delivery
- Legality of vendor products
Zappwala shall not be liable for third-party acts or omissions.
8. User Conduct
Users shall not:
- Post illegal, abusive, or misleading content
- Attempt fraud or payment manipulation
- Misuse vendor contact information
- Upload harmful code or malware
Violation may result in account suspension and legal action.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, logos, software, and branding of Zappwala are proprietary intellectual property.
Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.
10. Data Protection & Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and DPDP Act, 2023.
Users consent to lawful data processing for service delivery.
11. Limitation of Liability
Zappwala’s total liability shall not exceed the commission or service fee earned from the disputed transaction.
Zappwala shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
12. Indemnification
Users and Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zappwala from claims arising out of:
- Breach of these Terms
- Violation of law
- Vendor service failure
- Customer misuse of platform
13. Suspension & Termination
Zappwala may suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Fraudulent activity
- Repeated complaints
- Regulatory non-compliance
- Breach of agreement
14. Force Majeure
Zappwala shall not be liable for failure due to natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, internet failure, or events beyond reasonable control.
15. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute shall first attempt amicable resolution.
Failing resolution, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in Assam, India.
16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

18. Amendments
